Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidate must have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT.
• Candidate must be an undergraduate as on 01/01/2026.
• Graduates and candidates having higher qualification are NOT eligible.

Language Requirement (Desirable)

• Candidates should know the local language of the State/UT (read, write, speak & understand) where they apply.

Experience (If any)

• RBI work experience will be considered up to maximum 3 years (as per rules).

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10–15 years (as per category)

Selected candidates will receive:

• Basic Pay: ₹24,250 per month
• Pay Scale: ₹24,250 – 840 (4) – 27,610 – 980 (3) – 30,550 – 1200 (3) – 34,150 – 1620 (2) – 37,390 – 1990 (4) – 45,350 – 2700 (2) – 50,750 – 2800 (1) – ₹53,550
• Approx Gross Salary: ₹46,029 per month (without HRA)
• HRA: 15% (if not staying in RBI accommodation)

RBI Office Attendant Selection will be done through:

1) Online Test (Objective)

• Reasoning: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• General English: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• General Awareness: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
• Numerical Ability: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  Total: 120 Questions | 120 Marks | 90 Minutes

Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deduction for each wrong answer.

2) Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

• Qualifying in nature
• Conducted in local/official language of the state
• Not proficient = Disqualified
