Important news for CTET 2026 candidates. The (CBSE) has officially the CTET Paper 2 cancelled at two exam centres in Bihar due to unavoidable administrative issues. The board has also confirmed that a re-examination will be conducted within the next 15 days for affected candidates.

CTET Paper 2 Cancellation 2026: Official Update

As per the official notification, the (CTET) Paper 2 exam scheduled on 7 February 2026 could not be conducted smoothly at two centres in Vaishali (Hajipur), Bihar. The issue arose due to a delay in the delivery of question papers, which caused disruption at the examination centres.

To ensure fairness and transparency, CBSE decided to cancel the exam at these specific centres only.

CTET Paper 2 Cancelled Exam Centres in Bihar

The cancellation applies only to the following two centres:

  • St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar
    Centre Code: 125016
  • Lakshya International Academy
    Centre Code: 125014

CTET Paper 2 was conducted successfully at 1,801 out of 1,803 centres across the country. No other centres are affected.

CTET 2026 Re-Exam Details (For Affected Candidates)

Candidates who were allotted the above centres should carefully note the following instructions:

  • Re-Exam Timeline: Re-examination will be held within 15 days
  • Fresh Admit Card: New exam date, time, and centre details will be shared separately
  • No Re-Registration Required: Candidates do not need to apply again
  • Official Communication: Updates will be sent via registered email and mobile number
